Hi, I am the Founder and Editor in Chief @ Innovation Hub and Co-Founder of the Innovation Hub Podcast. I take care of the website, social media, communications, magazine design and author outreach. My personal interests include biology, biotechnology and computer science.

Hey! I am a sophomore in high school studying biology and chemistry. I am the Social Media Manager and Graphic Designer of the Innovation Hub magazine. I am also the Co-Founder of the Innovation Hub Podcast. My particular interest are human anatomy and psychology which I can further develop thanks to those initiatives.

Hi! My name is Pati and I’m currently in Year 11. I’m incredibly interested in biology and psychology, however a big passion of mine is also music as I’ve been playing piano practically my entire life. I try to combine the two disciplines and introduce people to the idea of using music in medicine as well as further studying how it impacts the brain.

My name is İdil and I’m a sophomore high school student from Turkey. I study in Inanc High School.  My interests are mainly physics and music, and I’m passionate about these subjects. In my free time, I play clarinet, participate in EYP sessions, learn programming, and listen music. My name is Audrey Harun and I am originally from Scarborough, Toronto. Biology-related issues, particularly those involving genetics,
diseases, and anatomical study, pique my interest and inspire my passion. In my spare time, I like to read both books and articles about recent advancements in the medical field. In the future, I intend to pursue a profession in medicine and work with people in the medical industry.

My name is Mannat and I’m a grade 10 student in Toronto. I’m very interested in neuroscience and psychology and I’ve completed many online courses about them.  I really enjoy reading scientific books and writing articles. My goal is to pursue my studies in neurosciences and psychology and assist patients that suffer from psychiatric disorders.

My name is Penny and I am a rising Junior at an international school in Thailand.  My research paper for this magazine is about the impact of fluid intelligence on academic performance through working memory. Adam Ho

Hey! I am a 16-year-old high school student from Hong Kong. I am a “neuro-guy”, meaning I love neuroscience and that I am particularly interested in protein-aggregated/ prion diseases: for instance, the use of cryo-em to characterize protein aggregates, or mouse models to test for the efficacy of vagus nerve stimulation in improving memory. I also love interpreting brain scans, which provide extensive information like tumours, cysts, edema, etc. Feel free to reach out if you love biology in general!

Julie Thuy Phan, is a high school junior raised and born in San Antonio, Texas. Her biggest academic interests are through multidisciplinary studies like political economics, civic technology, business law, and East Asian studies.

Hi, I’m David Yen. Currently, I attend Liger Leadership Academy as a senior. Previously, I wrote and edited for an electric vehicle-focused chemistry magazine. My interests lie primarily in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), but I am always eager to learn about new topics. My goal is to use my skills to make a difference in the world.

Hi guys! I’m Kimhor. I’m a senior high school student at Liger Leadership Academy, Cambodia. I’m passionate about Economics and Political Science. I am also interested in exploring sustainability to expand my knowledge. Therefore, I researched about energy cars, specifically focused on green chemistry and its history.

My name is Cac, a 16-year-old student from Vietnam and a Biochemistry enthusiast. Currently, I’m an ambassador for Vietnamese students at Innovation Hub. In my freetime, I like to listen to K-pop and play guitar.

Hello! I am Mealea, a 16-year-old highschool student at the Liger Leadership Academy. My interests range from political science to energy sustainability, which is one of the reasons why I chose to research and write about electric cars, specifically how it operates.

Sokheng Em

My name is Sokheng Em, and I grew up in the beautiful town of Kampong Cham province, Cambodia. Since I was young, I have always been interested in art, specifically painting. In addition, I am into playing frisbee. As someone who aspires to call for inclusivity and diversity in society, frisbee is always the first step to making this huge change possible. On the other hand, my research is conducted to study the electric vehicles usage/market and carbon emission (green chemistry) in Cambodia and beyond.

Adam Bhatti is a high schooler in Virginia, United States. He has a passion for STEM and loves working on various engineering projects. He also enjoys working out and hanging out with his friends in his free time. Jasmine Biju

Jasmine Biju is a passionate teenager from Massachusetts, United States seeking to bring attention to the fascinations of STEM. Jasmine spends her free time collaborating with various initiatives in order to increase female participation in sciences and mathematics. She has a strong passion for organic chemistry and physics. Through writing, she is able to communicate intriguing and overlooked scientific concepts and discoveries, and aims to establish the connection between findings and real life.

I’m Vaani Goenka, a high-school student from Calcutta, India. I love exploring possibilities, innovating, and creating. Hi, I’m Jamie Lin and a rising senior graduating in 2023. I am from Taiwan and came to America in 2012. My hobbies include choir and singing, basketball, and learning about the human body. Cardiology has always interested me ever since I was young. This is due to a heart defect I was diagnosed with as a infant. My goal is to become a cardiovascular or cardio thoracic surgeon to help more people live a happier and healthier life.

Hi, my name is Alice Shinder, and I am from Brooklyn, New York. I am very interested in psychology and want to pursue this field in college. Some of my other interests are painting and watching movies/shows. My article is about the connections between media, body image, and eating disorders and talks about how media profoundly affects adolescent girls’ psyche (specifically 12-20). I choose this topic because I think it is important to spread awareness about how media can influence our relationships/views of our bodies. Media is everpresent in our lives, and I think this important for the public to understand the full impact media can have on adolescent girls.

Hello, my name is Kenley Herrington and I am a student journalist for Students for Cancer Prevention. Students for Cancer Prevention is a global, student-led, organization directed towards spreading awareness about different types of cancer and ways to prevent cancer. We have already begun to raise money to go towards our research and prevention by selling t-shirts and through donations. I am very grateful to be a part of this amazing organization and I can’t wait to see how far we go with our work!

Hi! I’m Shreya Shiju from STEMthegap and we are a student run organization based in Bangalore, India. Our goal is to reduce the gender gap in science fields by introducing underprivileged girls to real-life science from a young age. We’ve found that government schools and low cost private schools in India don’t have the resources needed to support and further girls’ education, especially in physics, chemistry, computer science, or maths.
